Can't get past the start of the Getting Started guide

Is there a complete beginner’s Ionic development system. Something where I can just download Ionic for beginners and start developing?

I can’t get past the Getting Started guide because I get access errors when I try to install the CLI. I don’t know what npm is or any of that stuff. I just want to download Ionic and start coding. Is that possible?

It would be good to learn about npm. It’s kinda important in the JS world. But, you can use Ionic via a CDN if you want for testing purposes - Ionic Framework Packages: CDN, Angular, Vue, and React.
