Button in Item not clickable when item-left

Hi,
I try to use ion-items in combination with ion-buttons. These buttons should be displayed left of the item-content which may be a ion-select.
When using ion-select the ion-button has the same behavior as the ion-select. Only setting the button to the right allows to use the click-function of the button. But I have to display the button on the left together with the ion-select.

  <button ion-button (click)="functionNotWorking()" item-left>X</button>
  <ion-select item-content></ion-select>
  <button ion-button (click)="functionWorking()" item-right>X</button>
  </ion-item>

Is there a way to use the ion-select inside a ion-item together with a button having an own usable function?
