On my MacBook there’s a problem adding an android runtime to an ionic project (can’t solve it :(). I can show you the message that appears in the terminal:

Are you sure that the android sdk paths are correct in the system environment ?

I checked the Paths and the Error still gets thrown 
I had a similar problem which was solved with the update of my path and the Android Build Tools. You can also try to update the ionic…just in case
Sorry,my corrected Path still was the wrong path and I had to install ANT. Thank you
