What is the best way to keep the existing app uptodate with newer versions of ionic

Hi

Since Ionic is release new version every two weeks and there might be breaking changes or … in new release, what is the best way to keep existing app update with newer versions?

I know that there is change log, but it’s only contains what are changes not what should I change .

If there are breaking changes the changelog does note them.
