$watch do not work when ues $ionicHistory.goBack();

hi guys.
i have a button which used $ionicHistory.goBack()。 There two views with hide-tabs attr and the attr is used to control home page footer display or not . one is true . one is false. when i click the button ,the value do not change.
why!
