[SOLVED] Updating Cordova and cordova-android to version 8 generates ':app:debugCompileClasspath' error

Hi everyone!

I updated my Cordova and cordova-android to version 8 and since then I started having an issue.
I simply feel lost on how to solve this, I tried some things but to no avail.

Here’s a screenshot of my issue:

In this case, I found that I had to change the ANDROID_HOME to ANDROID_SDK_ROOT.
Some other errors appeared, still, this one solved.
