Sidemenu showing up on refresh

Hi i added a simple sidemenu to the app the problem is when i refresh the page i first see it as full navbar (the dark one you’ll see in the gif) then it gets hidden correctly, but i dont like it to flash and show up on page load.

How can i avoid this?

Th index.html looks like this simply:

<body ng-app="starter">
 <ion-side-menus>
  <ion-pane ion-side-menu-content>
    <ion-nav-bar class="bar nav-title-slide-ios7">
      <ion-nav-back-button class="button-clear">
      <i class="icon ion-ios7-arrow-back"></i>
      Back
      </ion-nav-back-button>
      <ion-nav-buttons side="right">
   <button menu-toggle="right" class="button button-clear button-assertive button-icon icon ion-navicon "></button>
  </ion-nav-buttons>
    </ion-nav-bar>
    <!--main app view-->
    <ion-nav-view animation="slide-left-right"></ion-nav-view>

  </ion-pane>
  <ion-side-menu side="right">
    <header class="bar bar-header bar-dark">
      <h1 class="title">Menu</h1>
    </header>
    <ion-content class="has-header dark-bg">
        <ion-item nav-clear menu-close href="#/">
          Home
        </ion-item>
      <ion-list>
        <ion-item nav-clear menu-close ng-click="login()">
          Login
        </ion-item>
        <ion-item nav-clear menu-close href="#/app/search">
          Signup
        </ion-item>
      </ion-list>
    </ion-content>
  </ion-side-menu>
</ion-side-menus>

</body>

It’s you markup. That syntax has long since depreciated in favor of

<ion-side-menus>
<ion-side-menu-content></ion-side-menu-content>
<ion-side-menu side="right"></ion-side-menu>
</ion-side-menus>

thank you i didnt noticed that sorry :slight_smile:
