Screen Orientation on iPad ist not working

Hi, screen oritentation ist working nice on iPhone, but has no effect on iPad:

this.screenOrientation.lock(this.screenOrientation.ORIENTATIONS.LANDSCAPE);

Does anybody has an idea?
