Save image file to photo gallery

@viskin i’ve read some of the documentation and i’m still not sure this is the tool i’m looking for.

Will this allow me to save an image in the phone gallery from an absolute url?

I’m looking for alternatives to cordova file-transfer which is now deprecated:

Hi all. I’ve been struggling recently trying to implement a simple ‘download’ button that points to an image url, the final result should be the user being able to save the image in its gallery. I tried using file-transfer but apparently it’s been deprecated for some months now and i if i try to use it i keep getting warning messages in my IDE. I can’t seriously find a good guide/tutorial showing how to implement this simple task. Suggestions?
