PrimeNG in Ionic

I am trying to use primeng in ionic app. I tried to use inputs of primeng but no help no input rendering. What could be the issue?

I mean I tried use form input fields of primeng. As follows
<input type="text" pInputText /> but it does not render any input field.

I think frankenframeworks tend to cause more grief than happiness in the long run. I would recommend avoiding mixing Ionic with prime, bootstrap, jQuery, &c.
