Plugin.run is not a function

I am trying to run the command.
Ionic Cordova platform add android but I am getting the error.
Plugin.Run is not a function.

I am using ionic framework version 3.1.1
With Cordova Cli 7.0.1
Ionic Cli version 3.0.0-alpha.106
Node version v6.10.3
Please help… how should I proceed.

Dependency missing for @ionic/cli-plugin-cordova

You are on a really, really old and broken alpha version of the CLI v3. You shoud uninstall and reinstall this. npm uninstall -g ionic npm install -g ionic Then you will get a current and actually working version of Ionic.
