Phones with Android 10 cannot connect to database

My app is currently connecting to a Django database. When I test the application with phones using Android 7 and 8 it connects without any issues. When I try to connect with a phone using Android 10, I get an unknown error as a response. I am using Ionic 5

getEvents() {

    return this.http.get(`${this.DJANGO_API_SERVER}/api/events/`).pipe(tap((data: any) => {

        this._events.next(data);

    }));

}

Can you connect the chrome devtools and debug this further? Not really sure why this would happen, but there’s not a lot to go off of from just that.

Can you confirm that your database is sitting behind a secure https:// endpoint?

yes my database is using the https:// secure path
