Not performing ionic build

This is my first time encountering this error… anyone else experienced the same?

When i run ionic cordova build --release android, I get the following errors:

Nevermind, I was able to fix it using the ff. command:

sudo chmod +x /Applications/Android\ Studio.app/Contents/gradle/gradle-4.4/bin/gradle
