Ionic Screen Squashed After Inactivity

Hello

I am having a strange issue that after my ionic application is opened after a long period of inactivity the screen is not rendering correctly, it looks to be squashed to the side of the screen. It seems to only happen after very long periods of inactivity (about 12 hours/over night). This is happening with IOS and Android builds.

I have a feeling this is down to how the application is calling the rest service needed to render the screen again after a period of inactivity. If the application is inactive for a very long period of time seems to be the trigger.

Is there any reason I would be seeing this behaviour after inactivity vs it working great swapping back and forth between application?
