Ionic push service, does this exist?

I see a lot of talk in this forum about Ionic Push service. Is this a push notification service to push messages to my app? If so is it free or is it an old service that is no longer provided or?

It was deprecated a while ago now. You need to use FCM or similar solutions now (OneSignal etc)
