Ionic popover - left and right arrows

Hello,

Anyone have any thoughts on supporting iOS style popovers with a left or right arrow direction? This would be very useful on tablets with a side menu (from which popovers emanate).

I dug a little into the directive and css. Seems only top and bottom arrows are supported.

Any hacks welcome (or alternately I can file a github ticket).
