Ionic Native Badge with capacitor not working on Android

Hi all,

I am having troubles to set the app badge value on android 8 or higher. It seems that the native badge plugin wont work on those versions. Did anyone has a turn around to set the badged value on Android? IOs seems to work pretty well.
