Ionic grid mis-alignment trouble

Hi,
I have an ionic grid setup with rows in column in rows in column,etc.
I am having some trouble gettting the alignment of two columns to match [column 2 and column 3 in the pen].
the misalignment is at the top of the columns.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve consequently went with flexbox layout which is working fine.
