Ionic cordova run android --lovereload always net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED(http://localhost:8100)

Tried both of your suggestions.

  1. I ran ionic serve --external to see what private ip the ionic serve will assign.
    For example: 192.168.50.247
  2. Shut down the ionic serve then add the private ip to resources/android/xml/network_security_config.xml.

  1. But I met net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED, so I still need to add <application android:usesCleartextTraffic="true" /> to config.xml.
  2. Then I ran ionic cordova run android --emulator --target=Pixel_6_API_31 --livereload --debug --verbose --external --host=192.168.50.247 --port=8100
    It finally worked!!!
