Hi, all senior Ionic developers,
I am trying to run an Ionic Cordova project in an android emulator and trying to use livereload for easier developing and debugging. However, when every time I tried, it always shows Webpage not available and net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED(http://localhost:8100) on the Android emulator.
My command is:
ionic cordova run android --emulator --target=Pixel_6_API_31 --livereload --debug --verbose
I have no idea why --no-native-run is not working. The Ionic document says --no-native-run: Do not use native-run to run the app; use Cordova instead. This is indeed a Cordova project.
ionic cordova run android --no-native-run --target=Pixel_6_API_31 --livereload --debug --verbose

In the beginning I thought there’s some bug in my project so I use ionic start test20230503 blank --cordova to start a clean new project. But it’s still the same.

I googled many times and have tried some suggestions, including adding the following settings in config.xml.

But all are not helpful.
Actually this only happens in ionic cordova run android --livereload. Livereload running in iOS is totally working well.

, glad it worked for you. Wondering why still on cordova is it because you are maintaining legacy project?
