Ionic cordova in app phone call to a number but without launching dialer

I want to dial a number(speaker phone) from a page in my App and I want to keep that page in front of the user. I don’t want to open the builtin App to dial that number. I tried cordova plugin Call number but it takes me to builtin call App.

I found no solution for this. I had to skip this requirement.
