Ionic 4 xcode 10.2 doesnt run on iOS

I created my app in angular7 and now after loading in the phone, it doesnt run, it compiles okay but just driving me nuts on why it doesnt run, this is what I did so far:

  • ionic cordova prepare ios
  • Change in Xcode 10.2 to the old build system
  • I did see that it was raising an error for the cordova variable in safari debugger so I added it, all the files are there

it just doesnt run, like if the web view wouldnt execute

so I kept going and installed capacitor, looks like it runs in there but with the cookies problem is difficult to keep a track of all the APIs, I also discovered that in my emulator is also failing for the last version of ionic with cordova
