I have the same question. Because I end up with this kind of error:
Chart.js lib is mandatory ; Zone: ; Task: Promise.then ; Value: ViewWrappedError Error: ng2-charts configuration issue: Embedding Chart.js lib is mandatory

Thx @Baltazar. I just make it works. I just missing include the Js file for chart in index.html before the main.js then everything is working great. By the way your suggestion is working too. Thanks so much for the help.
