How to apply primary shade color to ion-button

Is it possible to apply primary-shade to ion button

I don’t know what that means?

How would you do it with html and css?

normally we do
<ion-button color="primary"></ion-button>
But it is not working when i tried
<ion-button color="primary-shade"></ion-button>
I get a white button with no text

Sorry sir it was my mistake i thought applying primary-shade makes a button to another color.But now i understood that it is for another purpose.Thanks for your helping sir.
