Hide hide side bar in log in page?

Hi. im having a problem in hiding the side nav or side menu in my log in page, how do i do this? in ionic 2 or 3
heres the code snippet:

in app.html
<ion-menu [content]=“content”>

Menu
  <button ion-item *ngFor="let p of pages" (click)="openPage(p)">
    {{p.title}}
  </button>
</ion-list>

<ion-nav id=“nav” #content [root]=“rootPage” swipeBackEnable=“false”>

and in my preloginpage.html

  <ion-row>
    <ion-col class="signup-col">
		<button ion-button color="danger" full round class="submit-btn" (click)="logIn()">Log in</button>
		<button ion-button color="light" full round class="signup-btn" (click)="register()">Sign up</button>
    </ion-col>
  </ion-row>

You could use the enabled attribute to disable/enable the sidemenu. If you want to disable the sidemenu, attach the [enabled] attribute to your ion-menu and set the variable to true or false if someone is logged in or isn’t.

@luukschoen can i ask how is it done?

I think I just told you. Reading some documentation could always be useful: http://ionicframework.com/docs/api/components/menu/Menu/.

<ion-menu side=“left” [content]=“content” swipeEnabled=“false” [enabled]=“menu_is_enabled”>

then menu_is_enabled should resolve to true or false. Most likely you would set that from within a shared service or something.
