Having cors issue on simulator

I have been struggling hard getting my Ionic app run on simulator after adding ios platform. The app works perfectly fine when served locally on a web browser. But it doesn’t work inside the emulator.

My backend is based on rails and I have set necessary cors permissions. I also tried installing cordova-whitelist plugin as someone suggested on some other thread but havn’t had any success so far.

Have someone experienced this issue before? How did you solve it?

Sorry guys. Not really a cors issue.
This has more to do with app transport security issue that poped up after ios9 release.

Can be fixed using this
