Hi all,
I’ve got a basic app which displays a map based on your location and nearby services (e.g. petrol).
You can tap on the markers to bring up more information about them, I’d also like to have a button called “Directions” that opens up the Maps application and starts the whole navigation thing.
I had hoped that Android would intercept my current directions link address e.g.:
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/LAT,LNG/Emirates Stadium, London/
however it does not, and I am taken to the mobile version of the google maps site with a list of directions.
Is there a protocol I am missing (I tried map:// maps://) that I could use?
Cheers!
