Error building app with Background Geolocation

Hi, my previus working build does not compile anymore.

Error:

  • What went wrong:
    Execution failed for task ‘:app:processDebugResources’.

A failure occurred while executing com.android.build.gradle.internal.tasks.Workers$ActionFacade
Android resource linking failed
/root/.gradle/caches/transforms-2/files-2.1/42f4abcd1335f10590e79520ce40d264/core-1.7.0/res/values/values.xml:105:5-114:25: AAPT: error: resource android:attr/lStar not found.

  • Try:
    Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output. Run with --scan to get full insights.

Build was using Gradle 6.5 (Stack Linux 2021.10), I´m using Transistorsoft Background Geolocation Plugin, without this plugin the code is compiling without error.

Can anybody share ideas how to fix this - In not into that so much. Many thanks Matthias

You should open a github issue in the plugins repo. You would get a better chance to get help there by the plugin owner. He’s great.
