Anyone else having a problem building/running iOS targets after the Dec 11, 24 release of Xcode 16.2? I can’t load the iOS project when creating a new ionic angular project. Existing projects work fine.

It’s not angular. I get the same problem if i do a vue project. If you have the latest version of ionic and xcode, maybe you could give it a try?

Yes, but I didn’t uninstall cocapods. I’ll try installing it and let you know…

For what it’s worth, I just did our first build with XCode 16.2 and had no issues. MacOS: Sonoma 14.7.2 XCode: Version 16.2 (16C5032a) Capacitor: 6.2.0

It looks like cocoapods was missing. I don’t understand how it was removed from my machine. This happened after I updated xcode back in December. I’m good now but i’m puzzled by this. I was fine until the upgrade last month.

What exactly is happening? Is the project just not loading in XCode like this - XCode Empty, cant deploy on device
