App stops working after adding sqlite plugin

Hi guy, My app crashes on android 4.4.2 once I add cordova plugin add cordova-sqlite-storage --save
im not sure whats the problem… the builds successfully (building 2 apk ‘x86’ and ‘ARMv7’) but once I start the up after the splashscreen it crashes displaying Unfortunately app stopped working

I have also used ionic storage as well in the project import { Storage } from '@ionic/storage';

Can you reproduce the problem in an “empty” project where you only add the sqlite plugin and then try to run it the same way on the same device?
