I am coming from a JQM background to ionic-2/3. I’ve had a lot of trouble getting Android Lollipop 5.1 and above to play video. The app that I’d like to rewrite is a learning app that depends on videos.

My question is: "How does ionic-2/3 handle client side video on Android? That is, the folder/files.mp4 have to be included on the device.
If you know of example code or tutorials that demonstrate using videos on Android along with ionic, I’d be appreciative of the links.
I’ve searched the forum, but most of the questions relate to ionic-1.
