If you can do android studio, you can easily make your own plugin I guess. You can ask google for the exact steps to make a cordova plugin in android studio.
PS: when you know your way in android studio and don’t want to deploy on iOS or other platforms with the same codebase nor want to make PWAs, you don’t really have that big advantage in using Ionic.
