What is the best monitor for Ionic dev?

Hi,

I’m working on a MacBook Pro 15 Retina (later 2015) since 3 years, and now I need to add an external monitor for better productivity. I think about 24" (27" is too big) and $500 maximum.

I would be happy if I can get a nice display (similar to my Retina’s one).

I’ve already seen the Dell Ultrasharp U2518D 25". Any comments ?

Could someone please help me to choose a good device ?
