Using "sudo"

I accidentally used “sudo ionic serve” and “sudo run android” and now I’m forced to use it otherwise my content won’t update in the browser or on the app I don’t have permissions. Originally I was just able to use “ionic serve”. Is this normal?

chown and chmod are your friends here.

Ahhh, thank you. I didn’t think using sudo would change that build folder permanently but it definitely does, and makes sense.
