Wow Matt hi how are you.Thanks for taking a look at this. Umm well long story short im using media capture with file plugin to take a few pictures in succession and upload them to Firebase. Works flawlessly on Android upon porting over to ios i was getting the above errors. Which led me to believe the file plugin was outdated since ios file structure no longer uses assets-library. Upon updating was still getting the same error. The fixes i have found online are all for ionic 1 mainly including the one i posted above. Any insight about this would be great anything at all thank you.

Well basically I’m knowledgeable about Ionic 1 and that’s it … haven’t picked up Ionic 2 so that won’t be very useful to you I suppose.
