Suggestion required how to learn hybrid Mobile Application Development

Hello All,
I am a Oracle Technical Consultant, who is familiar with java, html and css.
I am willing to learn Mobile Application Development, but got struck where to start from.

  1. Phonegap or Ionic which is best for beginner.
  2. Step by step tutorial from basics.
  3. There are somany apps I want to develop but for start want to develop “Book App”, with chapters as links from Home Page.

Kindly Suggest.

First kindly note that Cordova is a engine which runs PhoneGap and Ionic

PhoneGap provides a way for users to create mobile applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Ionic is beautiful, open source front-end framework for developing hybrid mobile apps with HTML5.

And regarding the tutorials i think that it is better that you follow for phonegap this to get started and the official tutorials from ionic team and practice is the best way to go ahead

And for you third point you after finish the getting started and tutorials you can easily create what you need ionic provide many awesome feature that can help

A major cross platform is Xamarin, phonegap etc… I Would suggest you try Xamarin. It was built on .net framework. It allows you to use c#. It support as for android, ios and windows. The three platforms shares the same logic but u specify the view each platform.
