How can I use the cordova camera plugin to capture a square photo in iOS?

The photo currently captures full screen, and it displays a square cropper screen following the image capture (which seems somewhat glitchy).

I’d prefer if cordova camera showed as a square, because my final image is 720x720.

Thanks,
John

I had the same issues with a couple of my apps. In the end, I went with the `ngCropImg` plugin to get the user to choose the square crop after the camera takes the photo, and it works a treat.

ngCropImg also can do circular crops, which are all the rage for profile photos these days… You have to remember to disable editing in the Camera plugin options because you will be doing the editing using ngCropImg.

Thank you for the quick response! I’ll look into the ngCropImg plugin.
