Crosswalk has some disadvantages as well. For example on my 4.0.4 device Crosswalk has no advantage for simple application with several scrolls and some pages inside. I’d say it even works worse than the stock webview.
However on the 4.1.4 the step forward is huge. The app feels completely native. Unofrtunately the output APK with Crosswalk in the case of the test app is 18 MB while without it is 1 MB. For Crosswalk you must publish two APK (arm and x86) on the Google Play and handle them both in the future.
Whats with this x86 support ? I thought the majority of the Android phones nowadays run on ARM.
Why might high end 4.4 run slower than mid tier 4.3 and below, when not using chromeview (just standard cordova)?
