Sliding tabs in Ionic 3.1

Hello, I’m new to Ionic. I wonder if it’s possible to put N ion-tab into the ion-tabs element, without resizing the titles, but hiding the last tabs titles and making them visible by sliding.
For example, here

I want to show just May 14, May 15 and May 16, hiding May 17. May 17 tab title shoud be visible only by sliding into the titles tabs bar.

This seems like a better fit for slides than tabs.

I have no idea how to implement this, but want to maybe cause you to rethink this: This would be terrible UI for users, I am quite sure almost nobody would discover this.
