Hi, I’m trying to find out if there’s a way to add a second webview.

I need to be able to launch a remote site while still having all the push notification listeners and app state listeners functioning in the background.

I tried to accomplish this with an iframe, but it seems localstorage doesn’t always persist (which is necessary to my application).

Is there any solution to this?

Thanks.

You can use inappbrowser native plugin.

From my experience, the Cordova In App Browser has some design issues on the newer versions of iOS. You could also try the official [Capacitor Browser plugin](https://capacitorjs.com/docs/apis/browser) too.

Thanks all.

I went with the IAB and that seems to be working for my needs.

@twestrick I did try the browser plugin, but the options are very limited. Can’t hide the toolbar, for example.
