Push notifications platform

Hey guys, I am really new to Ionic I got task in my company to do some push nottifications for an application in Ionic.
I found on ionic documentation - Firebase and it looks really nice but I can’t find answers for all of my questions. Maybe you will recommend me some other platform to my requirements.

  1. I want to send an text + image
  2. I want to connect notifications with calendar
  3. It’s quite big applications for big number of users

If you can recommend me something it would be great:).

im not sure with the calendar thing, but you can send both images and text using firebase.
And currently firebase is free and there is no restriction on the number
