Pouchdb session storage location, persistent

Hi.

Using: https://github.com/nolanlawson/pouchdb-authentication

Does anyone know where pouchdb keeps the session information by default?

We’ed like to keep the session as persistent as possible, so it’s not destroyed on app restart. We’re looking at using localStorage?

Does anyone have any pointers here?

Thanks,

Ben

Hi,

I have the same question with @fruitstudios.

My app need to work on both Browser and Device (iOS, Android).
So:

  1. How we keep the session when we click “F5” on Browser?
  2. How we save user information to localDB after login to remote DB? Because in some cases we want to login to localDB if Device have no internet connection?

Does anyone have an answear for my question? Plz.
I need your help

Thanks,

XTai

We’ve just solved our issue. I’m not sure if it’s the same as yours. We have 4 couchdb environments and our production one was misconfigured which caught us out. Make sure your allow_persistent_cookies = true!

Thanks,
Ben

This is why my app is getting broken when f5 is hit. How did you manage to solve it?
