What is the lowest version of android required for Ionic2?

Android 4.4 - if you need to support older versions of Android (4.3 - 4.0) then you can use Crosswalk:

Anyone with a working Android 4.3 app for Ionic2

IonicV2 supports android 4.4 and up. The older browser on pre-4.4 devices do not have the features needed for ionic2 and angular 2 to work. Though this can be fixed with crosswalk.
