Looking for good advice about proper installation. DEBIAN

HI everyone,

I recently start to use Ionic and I am quite satisfied at the moment.

However, I only installed the whole framework as root on DEBIAN 8 “jessy”.

I think it is not really good to work as root.

What should I do to make it work as a normal user ?

Does any of you has a good link to share or a good advise ?

I use nvm on both Debian sid and OSX.

But my point was to know what is the most secure and good practice.
