Is ViewController.name deprecated in Ionic 2?

It works on Ionic 2 when I run the browser simulator but it breaks on ios Simulator when I do ionic ios emulate after ionic ios build.

I also notice that ViewController.name is no longer on the documentation anymore.

If so, is there a replacement for it?

Nevermind. I’m running into a problem addressed on this thread: Get current page/ view name in RC0 returns “t”
