# Is there any Capacitor Plugin to get location while app is on the background or closed?

Hi,

I am developing an application that needs the location of the user while the app is on the background or closed. I know there are some plugins but they’re very old and I don’t know if they’re still supported or not. Is there any new capacitor plugin for that?
