Is it possible to have an EventEmitter on a class?

I have an array of classes within a component, each with there own state. I would like to keep track of some jobs related to each class with EventEmitters.

If i have the EventEmitter at component level it works fine

If i move it to the class level to have multiple events, it seems to allow it as a field, but then i cant locate the event from the .html file

<app-header (model.myclassinstance.running)=“running($event)”>

Throws an error saying,
Event running is not emmitted by any applicable directive nor by app-header element.

I looked up this error but couldn’t find a similar case.

If anyone knows of a guide to how these should work in Ionic with a few examples, that would be great.

Thanks

and this is for which javascript library/framework??
