Hi,
I got above error after build android in ionic3.

AndroidManifest.xml:53:66-112 requires a placeholder substitution but no value for <GOOGLE_MAPS_ANDROID_API_KEY> is provided

I tried each and everything but nothing is worked for me.i tried the below solution 1st solution put below code in build.gradle file

Did you solve this issue? I have the same problem – it doesn’t seem to matter which version of the googlemaps plugin – it builds and runs fine for me local but not on AppFlow.

Sir I have tried multiple thing but nothing worked for me finally I removed the all the plug-in that is related to Google maps from whole project instead of map plug-in I used JavaScript map sdk for Google map then build error is removed.
Above procedure worked for me,so try and let me know my procedure worked or not.

Maybe you not add API key in config.xml
Try this
