Ionic: Twitter Digits Integration with Firebase

Hey, I’d like to integrate Twitter Digits for SMS verification in my Ionic app. In addition to this, I will use Firebase as the backend service and I will store the users in Firebase database that are authenticated by Digits. However, even though I searched a lot in the Internet, I could not find a direct way to do it because many people said that there is not a direct support for Digits integration with Firebase.

@saracmustafa you’re not alone! i too am evaluating how to best accomplish SMS account verification. firebase/digits integration would be a powerful incentive to choose firebase as our app backend. hopefully the newly united firebase/digits team will publish something soon. i’ve already been bumping them: https://github.com/firebase/FirebaseUI-Android/issues/403
