# Ionic run android does nothing!

I have updated my npm and node js version to 5.0 and noticed that since then the command “ionic run android” stopped working! It does nothing at all.  
I tried updating ionic but this didnt solve the issue

what can i do?

I had the same issue. Revert back to Node.js 4.2.2 and everything will work again. The Ionic docs do mention that it might be an issue use the latest Node.js versions: [http://ionicframework.com/docs/ionic-cli-faq/#cli-commands](http://ionicframework.com/docs/ionic-cli-faq/#cli-commands)
